This set is two cushions that do two different jobs. The seat cushion changes how you sit on the chair. The back cushion fills the gap between your lower back and the chair back.
The seat cushion is U-shaped, with a hollowed-out section at the back. Less of your weight sits right under your tailbone, and air can move through the gap.
