Carbon dioxide indoors is mostly a sign of how well a room is ventilated. People breathe it out. In a closed room with too little fresh air coming in, the number climbs.
This is the large-display model. It measures the same things as the palm-sized CO2 Detector we also sell, but it is the version to put on the wall of a shared office or meeting room, where more than one person will look at it.
